Monday Night=Craft Night in 2011
This Monday, January 3rd, I will be at the Etsy Labs craft night in DUMBO. If you are in nyc, come on out and let’s craft together. I will most likely be crocheting for an art installation I am starting to conceive of and will hopefully write a proposal for but I am open to learning whatever they have on demo. 4p-8p.
And if you are not nearby, you can join the Virtual Lab. I haven’t done it, but it sounds like some cool inspiration to kick off the New Year!

This looks awesome. I’m bummed I’ll miss tonight’s lab. Looks like they have stuff going on every week though. Let me know what you think of it. I’m determined to get this up and running.
I’m a bit confused about what Etsy Labs is all about. Is it different themes every week? Can you just go in and craft your little heart out? I tried looking for more info on etsy.com but can’t seem to find anything other than date and event info.
It is every Monday night, except right now they are moving so they have canceled the rest of January. We found this out when we got there last Monday;-( But I think basically you can just take whatever you are working on and do it there socially, or they have projects and materials that they are demo-ing that you can learn. But I am going to try again when it comes back in February! For now, my group of knitters is meeting at the same time in a cafe nearby if you are interested.
