1. Pina Bausch

Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch returns to BAM, for its 30th anniversary at the venue, with “Kontakhof.” Created in 1978, “Kontakhof”–contact yard–is one of her earlier dance theater works, but new audiences are more likely to know it from the 2011 film “Pina.” Set in what could be a high school dance, the piece is funny, aggressive, and melancholic, sometimes all at once.

Oct 27-Nov 1 at 7:30, Nov 2 at 3, Brooklyn Academy of Music, tickets starting at $25.
