Yum

I took my sister to one of my favorite restaurants in the city tonight. Becco, in midtown, can turn anyone into a glutton. Their food is just so damn good and they give you so much of it. . .it makes it difficult to stop.

They have an extensive menu of $25 bottle of Italian wines, which is a surprising price for New York City.

The food is so good. My sister ordered the pasta dish; served table side, one gets an unlimited amount of 3 different pasta dishes. Tonight’s special were pasta marinara and basil, pumpkin ravioli, and bolognese with peas.

I opted for something lighter, but equally delicious, the vegetable platter. My plate came piled high with steamed spinach, root vegetables, scafata, marinated mushrooms, and broccoli rabe. It was so good! Oh god, I almost had to be rolled out of there though.
