Tis' the Season
I have to admit that I am a giant cheese ball when it comes to the holidays. The lights, sights, smells, and sounds, all of it puts me in a state of annoying perma-cheeriness. Here’s a few NYC holiday musts for my fellow cheese balls out there in cyberspace.
Up and down the shopping scene in Midtown East there is an abundance of holiday decor. Grab a cup of hot cocoa or a latte to stay warm, and spend a few hours wondering this area of town. I kid you not, people are actually in good moods; leisurely shopping and gazing up at the lights.
Go ahead . . . indulge your inner child!
Wait until it is dark outside, which these days happens around 4:30pm . . . Gross! But, then head down to Columbus Circle and check out the light display in the Time Warner Building. While you are there, you can cross the street to the park and cruise the holiday market.
I’m really just scratching the surface with these . . . more to come.
