What makes Keenan tick beyond performing: One of Keenan’s favorite hobbies is cooking. She loves the process of blending different flavors and foods together, and finds her time in the kitchen to be therapeutic – a glass of wine is always a lovely addition to winding down from the day. Additionally, she finds enjoyment in sharing her delicious creations with friends and co-workers. She’s a hostess with the most-est, who can whip together a gourmet meal, shake out some inventive cocktails, and throw together a killer dinner party. I can attest to her excellent culinary skills! Yum!

Another huge passion in Keenan’s life is Power Vinyasa Yoga. Recently, she completed her teacher certification with Baron Baptiste. Through the practice and teaching of yoga, Keenan has found a new sense of empowerment. She’s looking forward to teaching yoga in Nashville, TN, where she is relocating soon to dance with the Nashville Ballet. She feels strongly about the impact yoga can have on an individual’s life. “The yoga community is so amazing, loving, accepting, and knowing. I can always go into any yoga studio, take an awesome class, and leave feeling rejuvenated, calm, and sane.”

She loves all art, music, and photography, including “discovering new bands and listening to all kinds of music for inspiration.” In regards to photography, Keenan feels that a photo “capture[s] a moment in time, completely candid, is so amazing. It’s like creating a time capsule of precious moments while at the same time creating something beautiful to share with the world.”

I’m thrilled to announce that Keenan will soon be joining the Dd team – blogging about food, nutrition, yoga, and over all healthy living. Stay tuned for her ‘official introduction,’ and get set for some serious blogging.
