Fashion Inspiration: Seberg Meets Bardot

 In Archives, Uncategorized

On Sunday evening, a lovely friend invited me to a cocktail party with her. The invitation called for guests to dress in 1960′s French chic. How charmingly specific, right? At first, I wasn’t sure how to proceed with choosing an appropriate outfit. What exactly did chic mean to French women in the 60′s? What in the world do I own that will work? So I turned to the handy-dandy Google technique and realized that some of the most beautiful and iconic fashionistas came about in the 60′s: Brigitte Bardot, Jean Seberg, Edie Sedgwick, Francoise Hardy, etc. Below is the look I ended up assembling. I call it Bardot meets Seberg. In other words, it’s Bardot’s hair with a Seberg inspired outfit. Oh, and Sedgwick chandelier earrings. I’m kind of digging it!

Do those pants really have an elastic waist? Love them!

They do! You put them on like you would sweatpants or leggings. I love any and all pants like that, haha.
