Inversions are great for stress and can be done anytime, anywhere. The benefits of inversions include strengthening the core and shoulders, reversing blood flow- this gives your heart a rest while blood flows easily to the brain-, and renewed energy and mental clarity from a more relaxed nervous system. Inversions are also particularly great for dancers because they help drain blood and stagnant energy from the feet. The next time you are feeling stressed out, tired, or nervous, turn upside down for a fresh perspective.
