1. Lincoln Center at the Movies: San Francisco Ballet’s Romeo and Juliet

No matter where you live in relation to the Bay area, this Thursday you have a chance to catch Helgi Tomasson’s version of Shakespeare’s classic romantic tragedy. Expect SFB principal dancers Maria Kochetkova and Davit Karapetyan to bring Prokofiev’s famous score to vivid life.

2. Camille A. Brown & Dancers at the Joyce Theater



How do you carve out a self-defined identity as a black female in urban America? Bessie Award winning choreographer Camille A. Brown explores the complexity of this issue in her latest world premiere BLACK GIRL: Linguistic Play. Plus audience members will not be left out of the conversation and will be invited to engage in a dialogue with the artists during the second act.
